Palesa

The art and science of beauty

Background
Palesa Skincare was the natural next step for Dr Anton Matthey. He is a qualified medical practitioner and started his medical practice in 1989. He was also has interested in the business and completed an MBL. With his wife, a qualified somatologist, they started The Aesthetic Clinic Waterkloof in 2009. He travelled extensively and received international training and experience in the aesthetic and beauty industry. Whilst doing this they also expanded The Aesthetic Clinic group to 8 clinics across Gauteng, Limpopo and Mpumalanga.

Due to the success of these clinics and by diversifying by importing state-of-the-art aesthetic and body shaping equipment. It was a natural progression for Dr Matthey to see the potential of, yet again, diversifying and growing the aesthetic and skincare industry by developing the successful business model for Palesa Skincare.

The Palesa Skincare team is excited to share this unique opportunity in a fast-expanding market with franchisees.

The concept under the spotlight
The Palesa Skincare concept is unique in that they specialise exclusively in providing beauty and body shaping services to ladies with a darker skin tone. They will therefore specialise in products and body-shaping services uniquely suited to their skins’ requirements, utilising Dr Matthey’s vast experience. Therefore, Palesa Skincare will be a destination shop in a mall, offering access to unique skincare products and services, as well as professional medical support. All Palesa’s aesthetic artists undergo professional training and will assist you in letting your inner beauty shine.
Some of the services that will be on offer at Palesa Skincare are Lamelle facial treatments, Lamelle chemical peels, DermaPen, IPL skin rejuvenation, DMK treatments, grooming, hand and feet treatments, hair removal, Mesoskin electroporation, waxing and epil-free, electrolyses, as well as body shaping. With the rapidly expanding skincare and aesthetic market, shows there is a significant demand available for specialised service providers, though limited attention is demonstrated from existing aesthetic businesses for darker skin tones. This would make Palesa a pioneer in this niche section.
The franchisee obtains the exclusive rights to the brand and intellectual property within a specific, demarcated, geographic area. In this demarcated area the franchisee may sell Palesa Skincare’s range of products and services from the pre-approved premises and location.

The unique products and services provided by a Palesa franchise would require appropriate specialised sales, product, service and equipment training.
