The Tax Shop

The Tax Shop

Accounting. Payroll. Tax.

Background
The Tax Shop concept was originally inspired by the high demand for professional accounting, taxation and related business services and was the first publicised franchise to offer accounting and tax services in South Africa. The Tax Shop footprint has grown to cover all nine provinces and with expansion into southern Africa it has established itself as the leading service provider in its field.

The Tax Shop outlets are acknowledged for their exceptional standards, value pricing and quick delivery times. It is their aim to make people’s lives easier and with their team of knowledgeable and experienced franchisees, The Tax Shop has gained a reputation for professionalism and service excellence.
The concept under the spotlight
This opportunity is ideally suited to accountants, bookkeepers, auditors and related practitioners who are starting up or who wish to expand their existing practices.

The Tax Shop has distinguished itself as a genuine one-stop, professional services provider with a range of services that include accounting and bookkeeping, business consulting, business registrations, independent financial statement compilation and reviews, legal and trust services, payroll and HR management, and taxation services. Advanced integrated systems ensure response times that are not easily matched and consistent standards among all franchisees ensure that the public can easily move between Tax Shops without compromising service quality.

The Tax Shop currently services individuals, and small-, medium- and large enterprises including multi-national and international companies.
Franchisor support
Franchisees receive ongoing backup, support and training by top professionals within The Tax Shop group. The franchisor ensures that franchisees are always up to date on all the latest developments within as well as outside of the group, such as changes in legislation, important news events and changes in their profession.

Initial franchisee training is hosted at the franchisor’s head office in Pretoria and typically lasts three days. The training programme covers all the services offered, the software used, communication with relevant bodies such as SARS and CIPC, general administration, and franchise management. In an effort to ensure that franchisees remain at the cutting edge of their profession, ongoing training is provided via regular online tutorials and guides.

Marketing fees collected from franchisees are employed towards the continued regional, provincial and national marketing initiatives undertaken by the franchisor. The franchisor regularly offers leads to all franchisees.
